fu scoperto accidentalmente dall&#8217;imperatore cinese Shen Nung, che voleva rinfrescarsi all&#8217;ombra in una calda notte d&#8217;estate nel lontano 2374 a.C. La brezza estiva portava alcune foglie da un cespuglio vicino nella sua acqua bollita, cosa che not\u00f2 solo mentre portava la tazza alle labbra e annusava il meraviglioso aroma di questa miscela. Da allora nacque una nuova bevanda, che da allora guar\u00ec grandi e piccini, ricchi e poveri in tutto il mondo. Nelle vicinanze di Roga\u0161ka, nella localit\u00e0 di Olimje, i frati hanno anche una tradizione secolare di raccogliere oltre 200 tipi di erbe medicinali che piantano nel proprio orto.
